About Us
R. C. Wiesenmayer was born and raised outside Wapakoneta, in rural Clay Township. He grew up on a pig and grain farm and graduated from Blume High School. He then attended the Ohio State University in Columbus, graduating with both a business
degree and a law degree. After college, he began practicing law in Sidney, Ohio
until an opportunity arose for R. C. to return to Wapakoneta in 1969 to practice
with Dan McKeever. Shortly after R.C.’s arrival, Mr. McKeever retired and R.C.
began his solo practice.
In 1996, R.C.’s daughter, Courtney Burton joined him in the practice. She is also a graduate of the Ohio State University with degrees in business and law. She had been working as a tax consultant with Coopers & Lybrand, a large accounting firm, in Columbus, when she and her husband, Mike decided to move back to Wapakoneta.
Over the years, the Wiesenmayer Law, LLC has offered consistent, high quality legal services,
and is committed to keeping clients updated on the status of their case, as well as
being responsive to all inquiries or concerns.
The practice has had several different locations since its establishment over 40 years ago. It was first located in the second floor of the current JP Morgan Chase bank building. Later, it was moved to 6 East Main Street, behind the Wapakoneta Post
Office. Since 1988, the practice has found a home on the 3rd Floor of the historic
Wapa Theatre Building at 15 Willipie Street in Wapakoneta, Ohio. |
